Business Development Representative Job description

We are currently seeking experienced Business Development Representatives to find, develop, and nurture relationships with key clients. We’re looking for self-starting, bold, strategic thinkers who get excited about new opportunities.

The ideal candidate for the Business Development Representative position will have 5+ years sales experience including but not limited to Business Development Representative experience. Comfortability with cold calling and strong communication skills is a must. Candidate will be a strategic thinker and pays attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time, partially remote.

Our Business Development Representatives are responsible for these types of tasks:

  • Identifies target verticals to prospect via a variety of online resources and industry-related networking opportunities.
  • Research organizations and individuals online to identify new leads and potential markets.
  • Represent DVI throughout the sales process with a comprehensive understanding of our offerings.
  • Create client-specific presentations and proposals showcasing DVI services and capabilities.
  • Manages all aspects of the sale, including but not limited to sourcing, presenting, proposing, mutual execution of the NDA, generating the proposal, creation and mutual execution of the Master Services Agreement and Statement of Work.
  • Generates project briefs to provide to the production team.
  • Attends and participates in Discovery meetings to ensure the project is within the scope and meets client expectations.
  • Keeps abreast of project development to ensure client needs are being met.
  • Conducts follow-up calls with clients to nurture the continued relationship and generate referrals and pursue future needs for DVI Services.
  • Attends conferences, meetings, and industry events to help generate exposure and new business opportunities.
  • Cultivates, plans and oversees unique marketing and business development initiatives, including conferences and trade events.
  • Utilize DVI's CRM for tracking activity and marketing automation to engage with prospects and clients.
